African Foundation for Soccer Veterans (AFSV) Annual Conference

The African Foundation for Soccer Veterans (AFSV) was founded in 2010 and it welcomes soccer veterans, soccer fans, soccer managers, soccer coaches, sports equipment companies, sports equipment manufacturers, sportswear companies, academia, governments, public, sports medicine and medics, sports managers, national sports ministries and departments, health ministries and ministers,  sports ministers, social organizations and enterprises, sports institutes and colleges, sports sponsors, sports referees and commissars, sports scouts, corporate companies, sports clubs, sports authorities, sports media, sports associations, sports councils, sports organizations, municipal councils, sports betting companies, marketing companies, public relations companies, international organizations, local governments, stakeholders, well-wishers and sports industry leaders from across Africa and the world.

AFSV in partnership with African Emerging Markets Innovations (AEMI) are keen to gather the perspectives of the soccer veterans’ industry in Africa and we are planning to have the African Foundation for Soccer Veterans (AFSV) Annual Conference to explore opportunities, challenges, ideas and issues facing football soccer veterans in Africa. We shall share post-soccer best practices worldwide, mitigation of post-soccer destitution both at amateur and professional level, mitigation of sports medical risks, inclusive transparent governance in sports, democracy, openness and encourage the development of respective African countries’ national soccer veterans programs and soccer industry innovations.
